Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 ER2
This is the first out and out race car we have had on the owners register. It is a 155 Q4 ER2 touring car. It was bought in late 2006 and is now owned by a very big Alfa Romeo fan who has driven 80% of all the Alfa romeo models.
The car currently lives in
Austria near to the capital Vienna and is driven in the Histo-Cup race
series in the 'Youngtimer Group A' categorie.
Details on the race series can be found at

The 155 Q4 ER2 Touring car was originally constructed using many Groupe A parts from Engstler Motorsport. When it was aquired by its current owner there were a number of problems with the car, the main one being that it did not run correctly on the original ignition and injection system. Rather than try try to troubleshoot an old ignition system a complete new system has been installed. The new system is a race ignition and injection system from KMS (Van Kronenberg.)
A number of mechanical changes have also been made and now the car runs at a reliable 384 BHP and 444 Nm.
